The 15thAnnual day celebration was held on 12th May 2023 at our JKKN College of engineering and Technology. Mr.Mohamed Kuraishi, KPY Session5 Winner, Vijay TV Cook with Comali a distinguished personality, consented to be the chief guest for the event.
The Chairperson Tmt. N. Sendamaraai, Director Mr. S. Ommsharravana, Principal Dr. T. Ruban Devaprakash, Vice Principal Mr. S. Eswaramoorthy, Administrative officer Mr. T. Radha Krishnan, and other members of the organising committee all gave the Chief Guest a warm welcome. The function began with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu and the lighting of the lamp by Tmt. N. Sendamaraai, chairperson, JKKN Educational Institutions and Mr. S. Ommsharravana, Director, JKKN Educational Institutions, chief guest Mr. Mohamed Kuraishi, and other dignitaries.
Dr. Ruban Devaprakash, the Principal of the college, delivered the welcome address to the gathering. The function was presided by Tmt. N. Sendamaraai, chairperson, JKKN Educational Institutions and Mr. S. Ommsharravana, Director, JKKN Educational Institutions felicitated the event. Mr. S. Ommsharravana honored the chief guest by presenting him with a shawl and a momento. The Engineering Department Heads honored the Principals of the group institutions by presenting them with gifts, acknowledging their contributions to the success of the institutions.
Dr. Ruban Devaprakash presented the Annual report, highlighting the academic and co-curricular achievements of the students during the academic year 2022-2023. The report showcased the academic excellence of the students and the faculty’s dedication to providing quality education. Prizes were distributed to students who excelled in academic and sports activities, and staff members were also recognized for their academic performance. Mr.S.Ommsharravana and Mr.Mohamed Kuraishi presented the prizes to the winners, motivating them to continue their excellent performance.
The cultural events were the highlight of the day, with the students of the college participating in a range of activities, including dance performances and musical performances. The cultural events showcased the student’s talents and were a testament to their hard work and dedication. Dr. G. Mohanraj, the Head of the Department of MBA, delivered the vote of thanks, thanking the dignitaries, faculty, staff, and students for their contribution to the event’s success. Finally, the function ended with the national anthem, bringing the day’s proceedings to a close.
