ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 2008. Our department is committed to providing a high-quality education to our students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the rapidly evolving field of engineering. Our EEE program focuses on the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Students in our program learn about various topics such as circuit analysis, electronics, power systems, control systems, signal processing, communication systems, and computer engineering.

We offer a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for a wide range of careers in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Our faculties are experts in their respective fields, bringing a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the classroom.

Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities, providing students with hands-on experience in designing and building electrical and electronic systems. We also offer opportunities for research and innovation, partnering with industry leaders and academic institutions to advance the field of electrical and electronics engineering.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)
PO GRADUATE ATTRIBUTE

1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

5. Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

6. The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

On completion of Electrical and Electronics Engineering program, the student will have the
following Program Specific Outcomes.

1. Foundation of Electrical Engineering: Ability to understand the principles and working of electrical components, circuits, systems and control that form a part of power generation, transmission, distribution, utilization, conservation and energy saving. Students can assess the power management, auditing, crisis and energy saving aspects.

2. Foundation of Mathematical Concepts: Ability to apply mathematical methodologies to solve problems related to electrical engineering using appropriate engineering tools and algorithms.

3. Computing and Research Ability: Ability to use knowledge in various domains to identify research gaps and hence to provide solutions which leads to new ideas and innovations.
