Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join the Department of Radiology and Imaging Technology as a Tutor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Radiology and Imaging Technology, delivering lectures, facilitating student learning, and conducting research. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to participate in departmental and college-wide activities, including committees and events.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Radiology, Imaging Technology, or a related field Demonstrated experience in teaching and/or developing educational programs Strong knowledge of Radiology and Imaging Technology theories, techniques, and equipment Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, effective, and relevant lessons to students Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to students Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the curriculum Attend departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing departmental initiatives Provide support to students in their learning and academic progress Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching practice

Eligibility

Relevant work experience in the field of Radiology and Imaging Technology is preferred Ability to meet the requirements for licensure as a radiologic technologist in the state where the college is located Familiarity with current developments and trends in Radiology and Imaging Technology is an asset
