Senior Lecturer

Job Description

The Senior Lecturer will play a key role in facilitating the college's vision and mission by providing high-quality education and training to students in the field of Bachelor of Dental Surgery. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and a passion for advancing the field of dental surgery.

Responsibilities

Teach and guide students in clinical and laboratory settings Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and workshops Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes Engage in research and scholarly activities to advance the field of dental surgery Participate in curriculum development and assessment activities Provide academic and professional advice to students and contribute to their personal and professional development Collaborate with other faculty members and stakeholders to enhance the quality of education and training provided by the college.

Qualifications

A Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Prosthodontics or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the field of dental surgery at a recognized institution Experience in research and scholarly activities related to the field of dental surgery Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders Familiarity with dental software for patient management and record-keeping Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and a passion for advancing the field of dental surgery. Eligible Fields: Dental Surgery Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Endodontics Orthodontics Periodontics Prosthodontics Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics Oral Medicine and Radiology Public Health Dentistry
