Post graduate degree (M.D.S)in Pediatrics and Preventive Dentistry or equivalent qualification A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a recognized dental college A strong track record of research and publication in the field of pediatric and preventive dentistry Experience in administration and management of a department Ability to develop and implement innovative teaching and learning methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Teaching: Developing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of pediatric and preventive dentistry. Research: Conducting independent and collaborative research in the field of pediatric and preventive dentistry and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals. Mentorship: Supervising graduate students in their research projects and providing guidance on their academic and professional development. Departmental administration: Contributing to the management and administration of the department, including developing policies, procedures, and curricula. Service: Participating in college and professional service activities, including committee work, advising students, and contributing to the college's outreach efforts. Professional development: Staying up-to-date with developments in the field and attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development activities. Community outreach: Engaging in community outreach activities, including providing dental care to underserved populations and promoting oral health education.
