Associate Professor

Job Description

The Associate Professor of Pharmacognosy will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of pharmacognosy. They will be expected to develop and deliver high-quality curriculum, conduct research, and actively participate in departmental and college-wide activities. The Associate Professor will also be responsible for advising students, overseeing student research projects, and contributing to the development of the department.

Teach and mentor students in the field of pharmacognosy Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum Conduct research in the field of pharmacognosy Participate in departmental and college-wide activities Advise students and oversee student research projects Contribute to the development of the department

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy or a related field A record of excellence in teaching, research, and service in the field of pharmacognosy Strong communication and leadership skills Experience in curriculum development and student mentorship Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion Eligible fields: Phytochemistry Ethnopharmacology Natural product chemistry Herbal medicine Biotechnology
