Job Description

The Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Record Science will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of JKKN College of Allied Health Science by providing quality education and training to students in the field of medical record science.

Responsibilities

Delivering engaging and interactive lectures and tutorials on medical record science, health information management, and related topics. Assisting students in understanding complex concepts in medical record science and health information management. Collaborating with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum in medical record science. Mentoring students and providing individualized support to help them achieve their goals. Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices. Participating in departmental meetings and other college-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Medical Record Science or a related field Strong background in medical record science, health informatics, or a related field Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement Eligible Fields: Medical Record Science Health Informatics Medical Coding and Classification Health Information Management Electronic Health Records Data Management in Healthcare
