Accountant

Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and reports for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com will be given prefrence. OR Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. At least 2 years of experience in accounting. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Strong proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded. Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and reports for management and stakeholders. Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation. Prepare and file sales and payroll taxes. Assist with budget preparation and forecasting. Participate in year-end audit preparation. Stay current with the latest developments in accounting regulations and best practices.

Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
