On July 27, 2023, JKKN College of Engineering and Technology held an enlightening event titled “ENVIRONMENTAL TALK” at the prestigious Senthuraja Hall. The gathering was warmly welcomed by Ms. S. Mouyadharshini. Dr. T. Ruban Deva Prakash, the esteemed Principal of JKKN College of Engineering and Technology, graced the occasion with his presidential address.
During the event, special recognition was given to Mr. N. Raveendran, a Nature Educator, and Mr. T. Radhakrishnan, the Administrative Officer. Additionally, Srimathi Yuva, Chair of the Erode Chapter, was honored as a special guest.
Mr. N. Raveendran, the Nature Educator, delivered a compelling awareness talk on critical environmental topics such as Climate Change, Water Conservation, the Origin of Rivers, and the historical significance of Kalingarayan Anaicut and its Canals. His emphasis on the water crisis left a profound impact on the audience, motivating students to actively contribute to society.
Following the thought-provoking environmental talk, a significant moment arrived with the batching ceremony for Yuva Chair and Co-Chair for all institutions present.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Heads of Departments and professors, who added further depth to the discussions. Around 250 students from various departments enthusiastically attended the program, displaying their dedication to environmental causes.
Concluding the event, Ms. R. P. Vijayabharathi delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. The entire program was meticulously arranged by both the dedicated staff and the enthusiastic students, making it a remarkable success.
